When the Path Isn't Clear, Trust the Nudge

I’m not afraid of change or of a challenge, but I suppose I could also be accused at times of dragging my feet. Or maybe even resisting doing what I know needs to happen.
There’ve been times in my life when I have wished a note would fall from the sky telling me what to do because I was seeking guidance. Perhaps that is where the foot-dragging comes into play because I want to make sure I am doing the right thing.
Typically, in life, we don’t get notes or signs that tell us exactly what to do; rather, we must pray and go with our instincts when it comes to making big changes. I have learned that when I go against my gut, things don’t usually go well.
I have also realized that sometimes we get “God winks” or affirmations that we have made the right decision. Earlier this week, I received what I believe to be a God wink, affirming that I was following the correct path.
A Gentle Encouragement
I’m writing this to encourage you to look for those affirmations. Keep your eyes, and most importantly, your heart open to them.
Letting families know they are not alone is my passion, and I look forward to this new path. If you’re reading this, then I consider you to be on the path with me, and for that I am grateful.
